AGPAHI is delighted to introduce Dr. Sekela David Mwakyusa as the new Executive Director as of 23rd November 2015.

Dr. Mwakyusa is a Medical Doctor graduate from Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences, Dar es Salaam (1995), and has Masters in Medicine – Pediatrics and Child Health from the same University in 2003. She is currently finalizing her MPH with the University of Witwatersrand Johannesburg, South Africa.

Before this appointment, Dr. Mwakyusa was the Country Director for the Maryland Global Initiatives Tanzania the job she held for the past six years. Before being elevated to Country Director she worked with the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Medicine as the Country Program Manager and Medical Director for the AIDSRELIEF project.
