Board Chairperson

She joined AGPAHI as a board member in 2014 bringing experience from serving in non-governmental organizations. Since 2016 she held various positions within the board, beginning with Chair of Technical committee and later in 2017 was appointed as Chair of the Audit, Finance and Accounts Committee.

In the same year of 2017 she was appointed as interim Chair of the board. In 2019 was elected as Chairperson.She has a long experience in managing public health programs specifically disease control, health systems strengthening and provision of quality health services from serving in national and international organisations operating in the country.

She holds a Master’s degree in Public health from the University of Leeds (United Kingdom) and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Dar es salaam (Currently MUHAS).
